Today we have released the second version of PRChecker.info site design. In v.2.0 of page rank checker site we have improved the look, feel and usability of the web pages by adding some gradient graphics in the header, top and left navigation as well as the footer navigation links.
We have also improved the general web page formatting, fonts, colors and graphics on web pages to make clean, easy to understand and nice looking contents on all pages of the site.
So that, we suppose that the new web design looks much more professionally and now it is easier and much more pleasure to use PRchecker.info site and our free pagerank tool.
And we hope you enjoy our new v.2.0 web design as much as we do :-)
We have upgarded PRchecker.info server
Today we have completed an upgrade of dedicated web server that serves PRchecker.info site and pagerank checking tool. The new dedicated server is a real monster with the latest dual quard core processor and a hip of RAM that very well improves the performance of both online pagerank checker tool and page ranking buttons on all the web pages around.
According to the tests made, it all works much faster than it used to be before upgrde.
So, we really enjoy the new PRChecker server, and hope you enjoy either :)
It is still unclear if that is an intentional abuse, or those guys simply do not realise that "showimage.php" script DOES NOT check pagerank, but it only serves internal images for PRchecker.info site internal purposes. Anyway, it has been blocked from outside access.
We also had to block few major ISPs due to constant abuse by spam-bots from their networks. Now we are considering to publish a blacklist - a list of spam-bot friendly networks.

Strange abuse attempts, spam-bots
It has come to our attention that quite a few sites owners abuse our service by requesting "showimage.php" script from their sites and thus unnecessarily spending our bandwidth.It is still unclear if that is an intentional abuse, or those guys simply do not realise that "showimage.php" script DOES NOT check pagerank, but it only serves internal images for PRchecker.info site internal purposes.
